Considered the most beautiful mountain in the world, contest that took place in Munich, Germany in 1966, this mountain can be climbed in 7 days.

The Alpamayo of 5947 meters in height is a mountain very visited and climbed, since the SW wall is simply beautiful and for this feature it was named “The most beautiful mountain in the world” in a photography contest carried out in Munich in 1966. With a wall of 450 meters and an inclination higher than 65º. The Alpamayo has 13 routes through its different walls. The first ascent was in 1951, in this case not by the normal route but by the North edge. Currently the expeditions are made by the Ferrari route which was climbed in 1975, with a degree of difficulty (D).  

1º Day :                Hz – Cashapampa – Llamacoral(3090 – 2900 – 3800 m.)

2º Day :                Llamacoral – C.B. (3800 m. – 4350 m.)

3º Day :                C.B. – Campo Morrena (4350 m. – 4850 m.)

4º Day :                C. Morena – C. alto (4850 m. – 5100 m.)

5º Day :                C. alto – Alpamayo – C. alto (5100 m. – 5957 m.)

6º Day :                C. alto – C.B. (5100 m. – 4350 m.)

7º Day :                C. B – Cashapampa – Huaraz (4350 m. – 3090 m.)
