CHOPICALQUI MOUNTAIN

 Height                                : 3090 m. – 6354 m. Duration           : 5 Days Difficulty          : SD 

The Snow-capped mountain Chopicalqui is 6354 meters in height, its imposing summit is located to side of the Huascaran; we will arrive at the Base Camp by the access of the ravine of Llanganuco to get to the normal route that it is the west edge. With a degree of difficulty (SD) the average of inclination is 45º to 60º. When arriving at the summit it will be possible to observe the impressive summits that surround it like the Huascaran, Huandoy, Chacraraju and others.

1º Day                    :                Huaraz – C.B. (3090 m. – 4350 m.)

2º Day                    :                C.B. – C. M. (4350 m. – 4900 m.)

3º Day                    :                C.M. – C.1 (4900 m. – 5200 m.)

4º Day                    :                C.1. – Cumbre – C.M. (5100 m. – 6354 m. – 4900 m.)

5º Day                    :                C. M. - Huaraz. (4900 m. – 3090 m.)
